Colm O'Murchu - Director/Producer
Colm O’Murchu is an acclaimed independent filmmaker, director, and producer whose four internationally released feature films — The Elixir, The Makeover, Dealing with Destiny, and Tabernacle 101 — have reached audiences around the world. As the founder of Australian Film Central, Colm has spent over two decades teaching and mentoring the next generation of filmmakers. Since 1997, he has guided aspiring directors, writers, and producers to create hundreds of Short Films and multiple Feature Films and through his renowned hands-on filmmaker's accelerator program. Also, former graduates now work in quality jobs in the Film Industry. His mission is simple yet powerful — to help emerging filmmakers turn their passion into a sustainable career and see their films succeed on the big stage.
David Knight – Cinematographer & Filmmaking Mentor
David Knight’s extraordinary career spans more than three decades, anchored in a deep mastery of the visual arts and cinema. A proud graduate in cinematography from the renowned Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), David now works as a Director of Photography on major film projects across Australia. Beyond his creative practice, David is a dedicated educator and mentor, sharing his expertise at Australian Film Central where he teaches lighting, cinematography, colour grading, sound recording and production management — guiding filmmakers through every stage of film production. With David on your team, you’re learning from an artist whose lens has captured profound stories, industry-standard visuals, and cinematic excellence.
