Filmmaking Teacher Job Vacant

  • Seeking Filmmaking Teacher for Australian Film Central – 5 Month Film School. Tuesday Nights and Some Saturdays

  • All rounder  Filmmaker who is good at all aspects of Filmmaking Welcome and Please Apply.

  • Also Specialist Teacher  in One or Two areas Screenwriting – Directing – Producing – Technical Camera Sound and Lighting – Editing Post Production. Please Apply.

  • The successful applicant will be teaching beginner and emerging Filmmakers who are mainly in 20s 30s and 40s.

  • This is a great part time teaching job where you will  work with enthusiastic emerging filmmakers and help them make a 12 minute Short Film for Film Festivals.

  • We train the right candidate quickly and effectively.

  • Our Film Instructors stay with us on average of 2 – 8 years as the work is very enjoyble and fits with other filmmaking jobs.

  • What is important is the following. Great communication Skills that any presenter and Film instructor would require.

  • Teaching experience a Plus  but presentation skills is what is important.

  • Tuesday Evenings and Some Saturdays.

  • Central Sydney Venue.   Pay: $210 Per 3 Hour Evening Session  $600 Per Saturday Shoot Day.

The Application Process for the Five Month Film School Teaching Job

Course Venue: Sydney CBD Chippendale

  • We will contact you via email and set up a Zoom Meeting Interview
  • Zoom Meeting within One Week 
  • A short List of 3 applicants will be made
  • If you are on the Short List we notify you and have the Final Interview
  • Final Interview is a 40 Minute Teaching Session in front of Five People
  • Successful person notified within 48 Hours
  • It is great Film Course to teach as we shoot a 15 minute film on each course. Our Melbourne Teacher is now with us for 10 years
  • All our teachers last at least 2 years or more as they really like the job.
